BBC 3 Commissioning
"Our onscreen talent have pioneered a distinctive type of documentary making that has been essential to the development of documentaries on BBC Three"
This is a quote from Clare Sillery which for me makes sense if the the documentary doesn't have its rough talent it can take away the feeling you can get from the story or information that you are receiving from watching the documentary.
BBC Three has an exceptional reputation in the area of factual drama – BAFTA award-winning Murdered by My Boyfriend, Murdered by My Father, Our World War and Don’t Take My Baby are fantastic examples of the great risks we are willing to take. We’d love to discuss subjects that demand cross-genre treatment.
These cross treatment films are great examples of what the BBC can show
to the public.
Murdered by My Boyfriend
Drama telling the true story of what happens to a teenage girl when she falls in love with the wrong man. The everyday story of young love turns dark and sinister when the handsome and charming stranger seeks to dominate every aspect of the young woman's life. A tale of contemporary Britain that every young person should watch.
